How To Care For Your Frames

1

Cleaning Your Frame

Use a soft, damp rag or microfiber cloth to gently clean the frame profile. You can spray a small amount of dust cleaner onto the cloth (never spray onto the frame directly).
2

Cleaning The Face Of The Frame

If you have purchased a framed art print and the acrylic face is showing dirt, dust or fingerprints, use a microfiber cloth to softly wipe it down. You can lightly dampen the cloth with a bit of isopropyl alcohol or ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid using paper towels which can scratch the surface, and do NOT use any solution that contains ammonia!
3

Extra Tips

Dust your frames every so often to avoid the accumulation of dirt and other particles.
4

Cleaning Your Canvas Art

To remove loose dust, lightly tap on the canvas, and then, with a high quality brush or piece of clean cloth, dust the surface.
5

Prolonging The Lifespan Of Your Frame

Hang with caution in any areas where there is a lot of moisture and direct sun-light, art in general doesnโ€™t love these types of conditions. It is highly recommended to hang your art in places that have less moisture and more ventilation. Hanging artwork near a front door also exposes it to a lot of light and fluctuations in humidity. Both of these things can cause warping, fading and rippling to the print. Whilst all precautionary measures are taken, unfortunately we are unable to predict humidity and other circumstances in our customers homes.
